Despite the name, it is not a farming upgrade or an extra planting slot. Placing a grown plant into a Basic Pot turns it into a movable potted plant that you can pick up and position anywhere around your farm. The trade-off matters: a plant inside a pot no longer grows fruit, so pots are used purely for decoration rather than harvesting. The pot itself is a pinkish-red ceramic container filled with dirt. This makes the Basic Pot a cosmetic gardening item for players who want to arrange and show off their gardens visually instead of maximizing yields. Whether higher-tier pots exist is not yet documented.
